In a city where convenience reigns supreme, treatsure is reinventing how people shop and dine by turning surplus into savings. Originally sparked by a home refrigerator purge in 2016, the idea blossomed into a mobile platform that helps F&B outlets and consumers take food waste off the menu.

Screengrabs: treatsure
Officially launched in September 2017, the treatsure app connects restaurants and hotels with surplus food to everyday consumers looking for affordable and delicious options. Its “Buffet-in-a-Box” feature lets users choose a restaurant, scan a QR code on site, and fill a reusable box with selected buffet items. The result is a delightful and budget-friendly experience that keeps good food from going to waste.

Beyond buffets, treatsure also offers surplus grocery shopping. Users can browse unsold but perfectly edible items from a wide range of merchants, build a cart from multiple sources, and opt for pickup or delivery. With weekly collection and delivery windows, this system brings a dose of flexibility and eco-consciousness to every purchase.
Grocery checkout windows: By Mon 2pm or Thu 2pm
Pickup days: Tue, Fri, Sat (Oxley Tower store)
Delivery days: Tue/Wed and Fri/Sat
By connecting surplus supply with everyday demand, treatsure does more than reduce food waste. It reimagines how food can be valued, consumed, and appreciated in Singapore’s fast-paced urban lifestyle.
