Plushie lovers will find plenty to smile about at the Mr Merlion & Friends pop-up, now happening at Marina Square’s Marina Foyer. The spotlight this time is on the Durian Fest collection, featuring familiar favourites like Cat Mountain King durian, chilli crab, pandan chiffon cake and even ice cream bread in soft toy form.

There is something undeniably charming about these Singapore-themed characters. Whether it is the exclusive launch of the Mr Merlion Race Car plush or the upsized versions of local delights, the display is a cheerful nod to hawker culture wrapped in a family-friendly experience.

On selected weekends, the pop-up transforms into a bustling “live kitchen” with cooking-inspired showcases happening on 20, 21, 27 and 28 Sep from 12 pm to 8.30 pm. These mini playful performances bring the plushie world to life, drawing laughter from both kids and grown-ups alike.

While the event offers bundle deals and multi-piece discounts, visitors may wish to pause and pick their favourites thoughtfully. Some might be perfect for gifting, others as keepsakes. The included eco bag with every Durian Bundle is a practical bonus that can be used well beyond the event.
