Five new heritage walking routes have launched across Singapore, giving residents another reason to step outside and explore the island on foot. Participants can earn up to $75 in vouchers by completing the latest set of trails under the Walking Trails @ CDC initiative.
Launched on 14 Mar 2026, this new instalment expands the programme first introduced in Aug 2025. The Heritage Edition trails were developed in collaboration with the National Heritage Board and spotlight historic landmarks, cultural districts, and everyday spaces that reflect the stories of Singapore’s communities.
Each self-guided route is under 5 km and includes five digital checkpoints. Along the way, participants unlock bite-sized heritage stories and interactive content as they explore different neighbourhoods.
Five new walking trails to explore
The newly launched routes span neighbourhoods across the island:
Kampong Glam (approx. 4 km)Explore the historic district and pass landmarks including Masjid Sultan.
Tampines (approx. 4.3 km)Discover Singapore’s first World Habitat Award winning township.
Woodlands (approx. 4.4 km)A coastal route that passes the scenic Woodlands Waterfront Promenade.
Bedok (approx. 4.1 km)Trace former coastlines and historical military landmarks.
Jurong (approx. 4.6 km)The route features the well known Stone Boat at Chinese Garden.
How the rewards work

Each trail includes five checkpoints that must be completed in order.
Walk to the first checkpoint on the digital map and begin the trail.
Complete the task at each checkpoint to collect parts of the CDC Trails badge and unlock the next stop.
Collect all five badge parts to receive a reward.
Participants who complete all checkpoints on a trail will receive $5 in RedeemSG rewards.

There is also a bonus challenge. Walkers can look out for six digital mascots known as CDC Ollies hidden along the route. Finding all six unlocks an additional $10 voucher. This means participants can earn up to $15 per trail, or $75 in total if all five trails are completed.
Eligibility and participation
Participants must meet the following requirements:
Aged 15 years and above
Singapore citizen or permanent resident
A valid Singpass account
A registered CrowdTaskSG account
For the best experience, participants should open the trail website using a mobile browser such as Safari or Chrome and enable precise location permissions. The trails are designed to be completed on foot, so other modes of transport should be avoided during the journey.
Walking Trails @ CDC is a collaboration between Government Technology Agency and Singapore’s five Community Development Councils, encouraging residents to stay active while rediscovering the heritage and stories within local neighbourhoods.
