A walk through Singapore’s history is now possible in the palm of your hand, thanks to Wilfred Cheah’s extraordinary miniature art creations.

Former interior designer and now full-time artist, Wilfred transforms recyclable cardboard into remarkably detailed models of beloved Singapore landmarks. His work captures everything from the familiar bustle of a provision shop to the vibrance of a street wayang stage, each piece steeped in memories of everyday life. Visitors can even spot a classic HDB flat with its unmistakable Milo tin—a small but powerful nod to shared heritage.

This special SG60 exhibition features both new and classic works, including Community Centre TV and Army Stand-by Bed, evoking the 1970s, as well as Anderson Bridge, which blends historical architecture with the thrill of the modern F1 era. The meticulous craftsmanship is as much about preserving history as it is about celebrating the art of detail.
