Created by the award-winning team behind Seoul Restaurant at Conrad Singapore Orchard, Seoul & So reflects the Rhee siblings’ modern interpretation of Korean BBQ while preserving traditional Korean cooking techniques and culture. Alongside the food experience, the restaurant’s interior design creates a strong visual identity rooted in warmth, openness, and understated sophistication.

Designed by HUI Designs and manufactured by HW Craft, the space embraces a restrained material palette of light wood, stainless steel, glass, and muted neutral tones. The interior balances industrial finishes with soft ambient lighting, creating a dining atmosphere that feels both contemporary and welcoming.

The restaurant features clean geometric lines softened by flowing illuminated ceiling details that move organically through the space. Reflective stainless steel structures frame sections of the dining area while maintaining openness and visual continuity across the restaurant. Large glass windows bring natural light into the space and create a seamless connection between the indoor dining area and surrounding greenery.

Minimalist wooden furniture introduces warmth and simplicity throughout the restaurant, while transparent partitions subtly separate dining zones without disrupting the open layout. The open barbecue counters and sleek metallic finishes reinforce the modern Korean BBQ concept while complementing the calm and uncluttered atmosphere.

Lighting plays a central role within the design. Warm indirect illumination highlights the soft textures across the ceilings and walls, adding depth and contrast against the metallic architectural elements. Combined with the spacious layout and neutral palette, the interior creates a serene setting designed for relaxed dining and connection.
