Singapore Night Festival (SNF) is back for its 16th edition, running from 22 August to 6 September 2025. This year’s theme explores the stories of islands, celebrating the heritage and cultural connections that link Singapore to its surrounding region.
Festival-goers can expect a line-up of light installations, projection mapping, performances, tours, and workshops that transform the Bras Basah and Bugis precinct into Singapore’s largest nocturnal playground. Beloved festival staples return, alongside new immersive experiences that highlight creativity and community spirit.

Kampong Chill by Yok & Sheryo: A contemplative space that reclaims stillness as a form of resistance, inviting visitors to pause, rest, and embrace presence amid the city’s rush.
Sky Castle by ENESS: An immersive field of glowing inflatable arches that respond to movement with music and light, creating a living symphony of colour and sound ($5 per entry).
ALIGHT Conference: A new platform bringing together Southeast Asian artists, designers, and organisers to exchange ideas on light as an artistic and urban medium.
Undisclosed Tours – Island Nights Edition: Guided mystery tours led by the festival’s “Night Owls,” revealing hidden narratives of the precinct and its artworks.
Paradise Island at Armenian Street: A creative gathering inspired by Peranakan heritage, blending contemporary art, stories, and island-inspired encounters.
The Island Dreamer by Starlight Alchemy: A roving performance where light and movement arts tell a mythical story of elements, memory, and imagination.
With three weekends of programmes, Singapore Night Festival 2025 promises to bring together art, heritage, and community in a vibrant celebration of creativity after dark.
