Light to Night Singapore returns in January 2026 for its landmark 10th edition, inviting the city to gather through art, light and collective imagination. Organised by National Gallery Singapore in conjunction with Singapore Art Week, the annual visual arts festival expands across four vibrant weekends for the first time, running from 09 Jan 2026 to 31 Jan 2026.
Anchored by the theme The Power in Us, this edition reflects on the strength that emerges when communities come together to reflect, converse and create. Across the Civic District and beyond, art steps out of gallery walls and into public life, shaping shared experiences that feel both intimate and expansive.

Visitors can expect interactive art installations, large-scale façade projections and participatory programmes that invite active involvement rather than passive viewing. Familiar landmarks take on new identities after sunset as Art Skins on Monuments returns with multimedia projection mapping across National Gallery Singapore, The Arts House at the Old Parliament, and Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall. These open-air artworks run nightly throughout the festival, offering moments of discovery for casual passers-by and dedicated art lovers alike.

Festival weekends add to the atmosphere with Art X Social Festival Street and the expanded Art X Social Festival Village at Empress Lawn, featuring food, craft finds and pet-friendly experiences on selected days.
Inside Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall, a rich programme unfolds with luminous façade projections, hands-on workshops, behind-the-scenes tours and live performances spanning ethnic instruments, choral works, percussion and chamber music. Selected programmes are ticketed but you may use your SG Culture Pass for some of the ticketed programmes!

Saturday nights bring added energy with Gallery Gigs at the Padang Atrium, where Singapore musicians, dancers and performers take the stage. The line-up blends emerging and established voices, alongside performances from the Resonates with Residency Programme and hybrid panel-performance formats that spotlight the depth of the local creative scene.
As the city steps into 2026, Light to Night Singapore offers a reason to pause, gather and rediscover the power created together. Through shared moments of art, sound and light, the festival continues to transform the night into a space for connection and possibility.
