Starting tomorrow, as the "Art Takes Over" the city during the Singapore Art Week's 9th edition, let us not miss one of the highlights of this event - the Light to Night Festival 2021!

Singapore Art Week Festival (SAW) is celebrated annually across Singapore as a way of showcasing various types of creative visual arts to the local and even international audience. This year, SAW's 9th edition will take place from 22nd January until 30th January 2021. There will be over 100 art events happening all around Singapore and more than 300 artists participating.

This year’s Light to Night Festival will be a redefined experience as the whole world needs to adapt to the new normal due to Covid-19!

Art lovers will experience this year’s Light to Night Festival from 22nd - 31st January 2021 differently as a hybrid edition. It will take place onsite at the Civic District as well as online. The art installations, light projections, and digital experiences can be found at various locations such as the National Gallery Singapore, Asian Civilisations Museum, The Arts House, Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall, Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, and Padang. Meanwhile, art lovers can enjoy art workshops, live-streamed talks, and live-streamed performances from the comforts of their homes.

With this year’s theme “_ _ _ _ _ -in- Progress”, the audience will be prompted to reflect on the question: What is in progress for each of us? The question often comes to our minds as we progress and adapt to the new normal during this challenging time.
