Singapore’s cityscape will glow once again as i Light Singapore 2025 returns from 29 May to 21 June. Organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority and presented by UOB, this year’s edition carries the theme “To Gather”, a tribute to the colour red and its universal meanings of life, love and unity.
Featuring 17 captivating installations by 20 local and international artists, the festival extends beyond Marina Bay to new satellite locations at Singapore River and RafflesPlace.sg, alongside the returning South Beach district. These expanded venues invite visitors to explore light and art from fresh perspectives while still rooted in the heart of the city.

This year’s theme invites reflection on how we come together — as friends, as communities, and as a society. Each artwork explores connection in its own way. From interactive installations that respond to movement and music, to artworks made through collective contribution, i Light Singapore offers a powerful reminder of the shared joy found in experiencing something together.

Among the highlights is Piano Walk, a playful installation that lights up with each footstep to create music, and Bridge of 1,000 Dreams, where bamboo rods etched with aspirations form a glowing path of collective imagination. At the waterfront, Urban Oracle pulses with ancient symbolism and futuristic insight, encouraging visitors to reflect on how tradition and technology converge.
